Account Manager - Business Development

About the Role:

As a business development professional, you will lead the charge in managing strategic partnerships across Australia. You will be the link between our organization and valued customers, ensuring seamless service delivery while identifying opportunities to expand product offerings and value-added support.

Your Mission:

  • Foster high-performing partnerships that drive revenue growth
  • Contribute to our ongoing success in the mining sector by developing and executing sales strategies

What You'll Do:

  1. Build, manage and grow strong relationships with key distributors and end-users
  2. Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed targets
  3. Use CRM insights to identify trends and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  4. Conduct regular account reviews to inform strategic sales decisions
  5. Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery
  6. Analyze sales data to inform business decisions
  7. Drive KPIs and negotiate commercial outcomes aligned with business goals

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5+ years of B2B account management or sales experience
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and solution selling
  • Commercial acumen and confidence in negotiating
  • A proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • High-level communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Experience expanding into new markets and industries
  • Crm savvy?
  • Experience or exposure to the mining, industrial, or mechanical equipment sector highly regarded
  • A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Business or related discipline (desirable)
