The Opportunity to Make a Difference
As a carer with Australian Unity Aboriginal Home Health, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders. You'll be part of a family committed to delivering high-quality care and support to our community. This role will be servicing the community of Albury.
What You'll Be Doing
As a carer, you'll be responsible for providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation. You'll also provide social support such as accompanying clients to their doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings (experience dependant). Additionally, you'll perform personal care duties including showering, feeding, and toileting; assist in oral medication (experience dependant).
What We're Looking for in a Candidate
We're looking for a compassionate, empathetic, and respectful carer who has a reliable car and Australian Driver Licence. Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses) is also a requirement. Both experienced and non-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
