About the Role

HAMILTON ISLAND ENTERPRISES seeks a highly skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our Sydney-based IT team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the intermediary between end-users and IT to ensure business/user requirements are delivered in IT solutions.
  • Work with users and architects to define requirements of an application and specify an optimum design.
  • Develop functional specifications that design and document desired outcome of the system enhancement/development.
  • Produce technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms.
  • Recommend suitable software packages and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Prepare material and provide training to end-users following implementation.
  • Perform analytical assignments as required by IT management.

Requirements

  • Advanced skills and considerable experience in evaluating equipment and software options.
  • Good understanding of the current hospitality IT systems environment.
  • Project planning and specification skills, together with problem solving and analysis.
  • 5 years experience in software administration and implementation, with at least 3 years in systems specification and design.
  • Sound technical specification writing/documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
