Senior Aged Care Clinical Lead

Golden opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role in a regional aged care facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical oversight of the home and ensuring that residents receive high-quality care aligning with aged care standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical care within the service, ensuring compliance with relevant regulation and legislation.
- Liaise between residents, their families, unit staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive input into resident assessments and care.
- Liaise with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and other healthcare providers to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
- Develop and implement training programs for RNs, ENs, and care workers, monitoring staff competency levels and identifying training needs to ensure continuous improvements.
- Monitor and identify AN-ACC reviews, ensuring documentation is proficient and consumer care funding is maximised.
- Effectively manage incidents, minimising impact and taking appropriate actions to improve processes where needed.
Essential Requirements:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in the aged care sector
- Strong clinical skills and extensive knowledge of aged care standards and regulations
- Understanding of AN-ACC process, assessments, and reviews
- Background in training and development of staff
- Excellent communication skills and ability to appreciate cultural diversity
- Empathetic approach to patient care
