We are seeking an experienced Principal Security Engineer to join our Security team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting pre and post-launch testing, offensive campaigns, emergent threat testing, and creating/maintaining automated threat emulation solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective security strategies to mitigate threats and ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Conduct thorough security testing and vulnerability research to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Design and build security tools tailored to our organization's needs, enhancing our overall security posture.
- Provide security training and outreach sessions with internal development teams to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Develop comprehensive security guidance documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in delivering cyber security solutions to large enterprises or government customers.
- Proven ability to provide technical and strategic oversight for a high-performing team of security professionals.
- Demonstrated experience creating effective security strategies that balance prevention and detection, drive risk reduction and mitigation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Masters' degree or PhD in Cybersecurity or related domain.
- Worked on large-scale cloud programs to deliver security outcomes.
