Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the effective management of Australian government-funded programs and projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program and project activities, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of projects and programs, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Provide high-level business and program support to ensure the efficient functioning of the directorate.

About You

You consistently deliver customer-focused, strategically aligned services by building strong relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders. You communicate with clarity and professionalism both in writing and verbally, resolving conflicts tactfully and navigating complex public sector protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, project management, or a relevant field (highly desirable).
  • Experience preparing written briefings, reports, and submissions suitable for executive audiences.
  • A sound understanding of public sector administrative processes and protocols.
  • High-level proficiency in the use of IT and software packages, including Microsoft Suite, electronic records management systems, project management systems, and databases.
