In-Home Care Worker

At Right at Home, we offer a rewarding opportunity for dedicated individuals to join our team as in-home care workers. Our mission is to provide high-quality care and assistance to our valued clients in the Riverina and Central West.

We are seeking friendly, positive, and client-focused individuals who can demonstrate empathy and respect when interacting with clients. You will need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference and be honest, helpful, and dependable.

This is a casual to part-time position, initially starting on a casual basis with transition to part-time expected once regular shifts are allotted.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work within a person-centred environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
  • Assist clients with daily errands, companionship, and support
  • Support clients with academic, social, or recreational activities
  • Prepare food, feed clients, and administer medications
  • Observe, care for, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Respond to emergency situations
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Driver's Licence
  • First Aid
  • CPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)

We encourage applicants without a Cert III but with great hands-on experience to apply.
