About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Bowen Hills. As a Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for operating a range of instruments and performing high-volume automated biochemistry and immunoassay testing.

You will work collaboratively with other team members to provide reliable and efficient customer service, adhering to departmental quality system procedures and occupational health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate instruments and perform high-volume automated biochemistry and immunoassay testing
  • Assist with customer service and work collaboratively with other team members
  • Adhere to departmental quality system procedures and occupational health and safety policies
  • Review and release clinical reports
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant degree or higher qualification in Science, Applied Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or the equivalent. Previous experience working in pathology and biochemistry is highly regarded.

You will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, a strong team focus, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently while unsupervised.
