Job Title: Earthmoving Machinery Operator

Job Description:

This is a contract role where you will be operating various plant machinery including loaders, graders, rollers, and backhoes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate loader, grader, roller, and backhoe equipment safely and efficiently
  • Carter materials as required
  • Perform verge maintenance and traffic control duties
  • Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any defects or damage
  • Assist with manual labor tasks when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Sound operator skill level with knowledge of safe operating procedures and machine maintenance
  • Experience with tip truck operation, including driving and tipping
  • Basic understanding of quality control techniques
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of road construction/maintenance and reinstatement practices
Benefits:

$70 per hour, meal allowance, and accommodation provided.

The role involves working under limited or no supervision, either individually or as part of a team. You will be responsible for your own work and reporting any risks, accidents, or incidents promptly.
