Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our team and contribute to the advancement of Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of FOG physics, operational principles, and constituent components. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing scale-up of cutting-edge FOG-based navigation systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of FOG and related systems for outstanding performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes for FOGs, focusing on scalability to large production volumes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration.
  • Analyse test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance FOG performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FOG technology, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Fiber Optic Gyroscopes.
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics and photonics.
  • In-depth knowledge of electro-optical systems design and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Understanding of algorithms and software used in inertial navigation systems.
  • Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools for optical and inertial systems.
