Emergency Medicine Specialist

Job Summary:

As a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and participate in the 1:3 Standby On-Call roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert emergency care to patients across a broad range of conditions
  • Offer telehealth support and advice to remote locations
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Participate in the 1:3 Standby On-Call roster (paid per occurrence)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Experience in emergency medicine, with the ability to work flexibly and manage varied clinical presentations
  • Immunisation/vaccination may be required as part of VPD risk protocols
