Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services, managing inventory levels, and negotiating with suppliers.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities across all sites and vessels.
- Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory management.
- Analyse inventory data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing structures to secure the best value.
- Ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence while maintaining stock integrity across the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Strong financial skills for effective management of budgets, pricing, and supplier contracts.
- Excellent negotiation skills to leverage supplier agreements and maximise rebate structures.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities to monitor stock levels and inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in stock management systems, preferably Revel or similar, alongside excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

Requirements
- Relevant qualification in business/logistics/supply chain management or equivalent experience.
- Open Australian Manual Drivers' Licence.
