About this Role

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as a Mechanical Technician. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for carrying out general mechanical duties including basic servicing, suspension, brakes and diagnosis work.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out routine servicing and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Working on suspension and braking systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Communicating clearly with customers when necessary to provide excellent customer service
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the workshop
  • Performing basic diagnostics using diagnostic tools

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Competence using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • A personable and communicative approach with the ability to work well in a small team
