The Job Description Our Mining Assembly division has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced fitter to join our site-based team on a 2/2 roster. The successful candidate will work in a team of mining assembly employees on the new machine site builds.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure timely completion of new machine assembly, onsite builds, and commissioning projects.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment within your allocated area.
- Collaborate with the mining assembly supervisor and leading hand to deliver customer satisfaction and meet delivery targets.
- Responsible for delivering and assembling mining machines on site.
- Responsible for maintaining build tooling, containers, and Hydraulic Power Pack units.
- Adhere to the HCA Safety Culture, ensuring it is embedded in every aspect of the role.
- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognized) mobile plant trade qualifications.
- Prior experience in assembling, overhauling, repairing, and servicing mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
- Hold valid certifications in Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, EWP, and Working at Heights.
- Permanent full-time position with a leading OEM offering long-term job security.
- Flexible 2/2 even time roster with potential overtime and bi-annual bonuses.
- Scaled hourly rates starting at $69, with potential for increases based on yearly performance and completed training.
- All travel hours on site are paid, including airport to site, intersite, and site to camp/vice versa.
- Competitive pay rate, zone allowance, field allowance, and potential bi-annual bonuses.
- Annual leave of 190 hours and 76 hours of personal leave per annum.
- One hour of airport standby time and two hours of flight travel time paid to/from the site.
- Reimbursement for transportation to and from home to the airport, or airport parking.
