About the role

  • This part-time position will transport students to and from school on designated routes.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere by building strong relationships with our students.
  • Schedule: Weekdays, split shifts (6.30am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm).
  • Occasional work during or after school hours for staff and student excursions and camps.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport students safely to and from school on designated routes.
  • Build a supportive environment that encourages student engagement.
  • Ensure punctuality and reliability in transportation services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior to promote comfort and well-being.
  • Operate the bus safely, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Loading and unloading students at designated stops, ensuring their safety and order.

Requirements and Skills:

  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Valid driver's licence (with at least LR licence but preferably MR licence).
  • An excellent driving record and commitment to passenger safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely transportation services.
