Field Service Specialist - Power Generation

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide technical support in the field, ensuring power generation products are functioning correctly and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs on power generation products;
  • Evaluate and escalate unresolved issues to more experienced professionals or supervisors;
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per schedules and standards on power generation products;
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims;
  • Maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation;
  • Train electrical apprentices and coordinate jobs within the region;
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health safety and environmental policies and legislation;

You will make a significant impact by applying your skills and experience to deliver excellent customer service and ensure prompt attention to customer needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Apprentice-trained power generation/electrical technician (or equivalent) qualification;
  • Diploma/certificate from a relevant technical institution;
  • Current relevant electrical certification/tickets;
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products;
  • High voltage/low voltage experience preferred.

  • Health and Safety Fundamentals;
