Role Description

This position is responsible for supporting our Dietary Service team by preparing and serving patient meals and snacks, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assemble patient meal requests by utilizing meal tickets and therapeutic diets.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to cafeteria patrons and respond to their needs.
  3. Operate equipment safely and effectively in accordance with department policies.
  4. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  5. Comply with hospital policies and procedures related to safety, security, and quality.
Requirements
  • Certified Dietary Technician (CDT) certification preferred.
  • Previous food service experience essential.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.
