Administrative Manager Position

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless clinic operations. As a leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily clinic activities, supporting administrative staff, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor administration and reception staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to oversee rostering, awards compliance, and HR functions.
  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly by troubleshooting issues proactively and implementing effective solutions.
  • Support the implementation of RACGP standards and practice policies to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Manage stock, reception workflow, and administrative processes to optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior general medical practice receptionist role.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to inspire team members.
  • Thorough understanding of MBS items and billing to ensure accurate financial management.
  • Advanced Best Practice software skills to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Experience in rostering, HR, and operational management to drive business success.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience in the primary healthcare sector to understand the unique challenges and opportunities.
