Mid-Senior Supply Chain Professional

This role is focused on creating and maintaining accurate sales forecasts for our business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the statistical sales forecasting functionality in SAP APO, ensuring that supply chain and advanced planning operations master data are appropriately maintained.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as supply chain, engineering, business, or science, and demonstrated experience leading the demand planning function within a complex distribution and manufacturing organisation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure SIC supply chain and Advanced Planning Operations (APO) Master Data driving planning and reporting is accurately maintained to support transactional, planning, and reporting processes.
  • Maintain and execute the appropriate statistical sales forecasting functionality in SAP APO.
  • Continuously improve the application of available APO DP functionality to optimize forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other SAP APO users and experts across the business to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Create accurate statistical sales forecasts in SAP APO, ensuring modelling represents historical data.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve forecast accuracy and provide accompanying context.
  • Support the Regional Sales and Commercial teams to increase their knowledge and expertise in sales forecasting.
  • Ensure signed-off SIC sales forecasts are correctly fed into supply planning and execution processes.

This role adds value by working closely with sales, commercial, and lead teams to develop an accurate estimate of future sales, directly influencing supply and purchase planning decisions and impacting customer service, cash, and cost outcomes.
