We are seeking a highly capable Travel Coordinator to assist the Flights and Accommodation function and team at Karara Mining Limited. This role will be responsible for booking flights and accommodation and other travel-related items, with a strong focus on providing the best possible experience for employees, contractors, and visitors to the Karara mine site.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the distribution of site communications and information bulletins to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure prompt responses to requests for information and assistance, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Manage expenses, accommodation, travel bookings, and any amendments in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process site entry forms and ensure compliance with site access requirements prior to site visits.
- Support the administration component associated with site access and flights in relevant software systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify any abnormalities or missing information associated with site access and flight submissions, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Work autonomously, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Proven experience in an administrative and/or secretarial position, with a strong background in travel coordination and management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven experience using SAP, INX InFlight, or other similar systems, as well as data management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, typing accuracy, and customer service skills, with a high level of organizational ability.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- A positive and supportive work environment, with a focus on employee well-being and development.
