**Teaching Opportunity at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our dynamic teaching team at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Southern Cross, WA.

As a rural Catholic school catering for approximately 40 students from Three-Year-Old Kindergarten to Year 6, we are committed to providing excellence in education within a Christ-centred environment. Our school supports students in their growth as contributing members of the community while living the ethos of the Catholic faith.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and nurture respectful relationships with students, staff, and families of the school.
  • Promote the Catholic faith, education, and ethos of the school.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Teaching and Learning Team.
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching practice, engaging, motivating, and managing students in the classroom and in their learning.
  • Possess excellent organisational, technological, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have an understanding of contemporary, evidence-based approaches to learning and teaching, including the ability to use data to differentiate the curriculum to cater for a variety of student needs.
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and practice effective strategies to implement it.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development through participation in Professional Development and Professional Learning Communities.
  • Be an active and positive staff member, willing to support all class and whole-school initiatives and activities.

**Qualifications Required:**

  • Appropriate Teaching Qualifications.
  • Current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education is desirable.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
