Census Participation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Remote Census Engagement Manager position.
- This role is responsible for maximizing participation in the Census through targeted engagement activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing engagement plans to connect stakeholders and community members with the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
- Providing support and assistance to operational teams undertaking activities in remote areas.
- Maintaining records of engagement activities via the ABS Stakeholder Management System.
Qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience working with or advocating for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Ability to engage with service providers, communicate effectively, and develop strong working relationships.
- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
