About the Role: As a Deputy Editor, you are the second-in-command in our eCommerce editorial team, reporting to the Editor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance attention to detail with the ability to pivot quickly.

+ Oversee content production processes across the department ensuring efficiency, quality and strategic alignment + Manage day-to-day workflow and deadlines across the editorial team + Mentor writers and social producers to develop skills and maintain high content standards + Optimise workflow efficiency and track performance metrics to identify improvements + Collaborate with the Editor and stakeholders to refine strategies and improve outcomes + Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform content direction + Support the planning and execution of tentpole and seasonal content projects + Champion brand voice and editorial quality across all content

Requirements:
- At least 5+ years relevant experience in content creation and management including team leadership
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
- Proven experience of off-platform content management, creation and innovation
- Opportunity spotting, initiative, drive and the ability to inspire a team
- Fast-paced, quick thinker, solutions-oriented and positive under pressure
- Broad content expertise across writing, editing, video and social
- Comfortable creating video and appearing on-camera where required
- Confident public speaker who can advocate for the brand in internal and external settings
- Experience using multiple CMS platforms and creative tools such as Canva and Monday
