Urban Design Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Urban Design Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in growing their skills and career in urban design.

The successful candidate will have experience in designing public spaces, collaborating with architects and engineers on built form projects, and managing project involvement under the guidance of directors and project managers. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to visually communicate key design ideas and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in creative landscape and public realm design, deliver input into multiple projects from concept stage through to design development, production, and documentation.
  • Work across a wide range of project types, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines and managing project involvement under the guidance of the directors and project managers.
  • Bring an understanding of design principles and methods, apply them in the urban environment, problem solve and develop objective and informed insights to aid the design process.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture at a graduate or postgraduate level.
  • Minimum 1–5 years relevant experience, ideally gained in a private practice or with local council or government.
  • Competent and efficient using industry standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
