Our client is seeking experienced geologists to work on a short-term FIFO contract at their underground operation in the WA Goldfields. The successful candidates will be responsible for diamond core logging in the core yard, supporting active underground drilling programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Log resource-definition diamond core to standards set by the Senior Geologist;">
  • Record visual logs, including mineral identification, alteration, structures and relevant geotechnical observations;">
  • Enter and validate data in company systems (e.g., geological logging software);">
  • Follow sampling procedures and quality control protocols;">
  • Collaborate with the mine geology team to progress project objectives;">
  • Assist with evaluation and reporting of geological data; attend meetings as required.">

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology;">
  • Experience with geological logging software;">
  • Understanding of Eastern Goldfields geology and Archaean gold lode systems;">
  • Safety-conscious approach with a strong field compliance record;">

  • Physically able to meet the inherent requirements of the role;">
