Role Summary:

This role focuses on providing oral health promotion and preventive programs to young children and their families within the Early Childhood Dental Program (ECDP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted oral health initiatives to young children and their families.
  • Implement community-based preventive programs for optimal outcomes.
  • Screen and provide dental care for children as required.
  • Manage patient records and central management systems effectively.
  • Refer patients requiring specialized care beyond ECDP scope.
  • Lead and guide Dental Clinic Assistants and student Dental Assistants in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for registration as an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist with the relevant Australian regulatory body.
  • Current 'C' class driver's license for regular travel requirements.
  • Completed Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check clearance.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency for employment eligibility.
