Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the subcontractor tender process.
  • Arrange the calling of quotations and completing tender comparison for review by the Project Team.
  • Lead Tender Meetings and negotiations with subcontractors.
  • Manage and lead all financial and contractual aspects associated with the subcontract.
  • Overall management and responsibility for the project cost report - ensure project parameters for costs are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare and maintain cost controls and closely monitor financial risk and opportunities.
  • Assessment of works complete and preparation of progress claims (as applicable).
  • Maintain Project Schedule of Rates.
  • Carry out Cost Exercises as required.
  • Assist Commercial Manager when required and requested.
  • Assist Project Manager and Project Site Team.
  • Provide financial and commercial guidance to the project manage and site team.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects in Sydney, including 55 Pitt Street and Harbourside. As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work on large commercial projects and develop your skills in contract management, cost control, and project administration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration on large commercial projects.
  • Financial or accounting experience would be desirable.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field of study, coupled with relevant experience as a Contract Administrator, or Senior Contract Administrator on large building projects ($80mil+).
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Understanding the risks and limitations associated with all project legal agreements and requirements.
  • Sound working knowledge of project administration and project control applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Understanding of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts and subcontracts.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to foster a strong culture in-line with Mirvac's key values.
  • Passionate about delivering customer-focused quality, leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which you operate.
