**Independent Governance Oversight Role**

We are seeking an experienced and community-minded individual with CPA certification to assume a key position on our Audit and Risk Committee.

The committee provides strategic oversight of our financial reporting, risk management, internal controls and compliance processes.

It plays a vital role in ensuring robust governance across the organisation.

As a member, you'll help strengthen the integrity, accountability and performance of our health service through expert contributions and informed decision-making.

You'll bring your professional expertise to bear and be part of critical discussions about financial management, risk, and compliance.

Attend four scheduled meetings each year (90 minutes each), with pre-reading required.

A hybrid format is adopted – face-to-face attendance preferred, virtual participation available.

Remuneration applies for meeting attendance.

**Essential Criteria:**

- CPA qualification (mandatory)

**Highly-Regarded Criteria:**

- Interest or experience in auditing, strategic risk management, governance, law and/or business

- Compliance and reporting experience within a health organisation or sector (desirable)

- Residency or work presence in the local community (desirable)
