Aged Care Kitchen Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team at CraigCare Group in Albany. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of food quality and presentation for our residents.
Job DescriptionThis is a casual opportunity that requires flexibility to work across any day of the week. You will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving, and clean-up of meals to our residents. Your strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and understanding of special dietary requirements will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program, contributing to a clean and safe working environment, and preparing and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- An organised and can-do attitude to work in a physically demanding team environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Flexibility to work across any day of the week;
- A sound knowledge of Food Safety (current Food Safety Qualifications); and
Additionally, you will need to meet the following essential requirements:
- A current NDIS check clearance or willingness to obtain;
- Proof of Work rights in Australia;
- Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose); and
- Proof of Flu vaccination (current year).
