Job Summary:
AutoRecruit is seeking a skilled and trade-qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our team in the picturesque region of Tully/Mission Beach. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing general mechanical servicing and repairs, testing and diagnosing faults, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine and transmission problems.
- Test and inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training and workshops as required.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.
- Current RWC and Air-conditioning licenses (beneficial, but not essential).
- Current open drivers license essential.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
