Job Title:

Vending Machine Technician

Job Responsibilities:

This role involves receiving, handling, sorting and delivering vending machine products, merchandise and other items to clubs. Refilling vending machines with products and merchandise in clubs is a key responsibility along with maintaining and cleaning vending machines.

Liaising with contractors to ensure that machine faults/errors are resolved efficiently is also essential. The successful applicant will be involved in assisting the installation of new vending machines and sourcing and maintaining optimum stock of spare parts for vending machines.

Additionally, this role includes managing current suppliers' relationship and undertaking ongoing inventory management to ensure appropriate levels are maintained. Liaising with third-party logistics to undertake filling of vending machines is also a key responsibility.

The position demands a satisfactory level of physical fitness given its involvement in repetitive lifting of beverage cartons weighing up to 15kg. Therefore, the successful applicant must undergo a pre-employment medical examination.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Australian Driver's License (essential)
  • Experience in customer service (desirable)
  • Proficient with technology and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to complete tasks to a high standard and without close supervision
