Concept Artist Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating dynamic artwork that brings stories and scripts to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation of concept art for visual effects in feature films.
  • Collaboration with Art Department leadership and within a production environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure while implementing changes based on input from multiple sources.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 4+ years experience in the Entertainment Industry.
  • Experience or knowledge of cinematic techniques, language and shot composition.
  • Demo reel and/or portfolio required.
  • Developed 'eye' and strong aesthetic.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Macintosh computer systems including word processing, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Painter, Sketch-up, Modo, etc.).
  • Ability to assemble research and reference material that will be influential to clients and design team.
