Job Title: Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to handle day-to-day maintenance, respond to guest repair requests, and perform handyman duties. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

  • Respond promptly to guest repair requests and address any issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with guests/customers to resolve maintenance concerns.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utilities.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Share daily activities and problems encountered with other shifts using approved communication protocols.
  • Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire expertise in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building practices.
Requirements:
  • General handyman skills, some trade qualifications preferred but not required. We offer training opportunities for recent graduates.
  • Prior experience in a hotel Engineering department is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure with a proactive attitude and high energy levels.
