Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled electrical maintenance technician to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

This position involves conducting regular maintenance and repairs on our equipment, inspecting systems to identify potential issues, and providing technical support to customers. You will work closely with our project management and customer support teams to deliver exceptional service and ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent system downtime
  • Inspect and diagnose electrical issues to identify root causes
  • Perform repairs and replacements as needed to maintain system integrity
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams
  • Liaise with suppliers to source materials and equipment

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should possess a current NSW Electrical Licence (Electrician's Licence) and relevant working rights in Australia. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline are also desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults to minimize downtime
  • Providing expert technical guidance to colleagues and customers
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and industry standards

As a successful candidate, you will have proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. Sound knowledge of NSW electrical safety regulations and standards is essential, along with experience with Siemens PLC, Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), IT networks, distributed I/O systems, and Step 7.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in written and spoken English, proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools, and able to coordinate in a fast-paced environment.
