About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Contemporary Catering. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for the production and delivery of high-quality meals, ensuring a smooth operation and exceptional resident dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support resident dining experience
  • Lead and manage kitchen team
  • Manage compliance related to food safety, WHS, and quality
  • Stock control and ordering
  • Food cost management
  • Communicate with facility management, residents, and families
Requirements
  • Chef qualifications
  • Experience within Aged Care with a strong understanding of modified texture and dietary needs
  • Understanding of food cost management
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • Strong personal presentation and grooming skills
  • Food Safety legislation understanding
