We are seeking an experienced Windows specialist to fill a critical role in our organization.

This contract requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in Windows Endpoint Management and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) engineering.

  • The ideal candidate will design and maintain standard Windows SOE images aligned to ISM, Essential Eight, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • They will be responsible for packaging and deploying applications via Intune and/or Endpoint Configuration Manager/MECM.
  • The candidate must manage Intune and endpoint policies, compliance, Conditional Access, baselines, Autopilot, application, and update rings.
  • Provisioning, configuration, monthly patching, and Windows version upgrades with minimal disruption is also part of the job.
  • The successful candidate will implement security controls such as BitLocker, Defender policies, hardening, and secure baselines mapped to public-sector standards.
  • Automating builds, config, and remediation using PowerShell and related tooling is also required.
  • Troubleshooting L3 escalation for SOE, application, and deployment issues; creating clear runbooks/docs is essential.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows Endpoint Management/SOE engineering is necessary.
  • Proven SOE build, application packaging, and Intune experience; MECM/SCCM is a plus.
  • Strong PowerShell, GPO/baselines, Defender, BitLocker; public-sector compliance exposure (ISM/E8/ISO) is required.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills are essential.
  • An Australian Citizen with active NV1 (or higher) security clearance is mandatory.
