Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Specialist to provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, while developing your skills and expertise in disability support.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with high care needs, mental health conditions, behaviour challenges, epilepsy, and trauma-informed care. They will possess a strong understanding of disability support principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client boundaries
In addition to the above requirements, the successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Disability or higher, a current Working with Children check, First Aid/CPR certification, and a full Australian driver's license. A willingness to learn and grow in this role is essential.
This is a casual position, working on an hourly rate of $32.56 - $40.00 per hour. The work location is in-person, with occasional opportunities to work remotely.
