This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes under the guidance of experienced chefs.
  • Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure high-quality food is produced.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Learn and develop culinary skills through hands-on training.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Attend formal classroom training to qualify for a Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery.

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate preferred.
  • Passion for food and cooking.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
