Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Engineering Lead to lead the design, development, and optimization of our enterprise data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategy for scalability, reliability, and performance across the data ecosystem.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. You will own the design and implementation of the data platform using modern data stack technologies and collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
  • Own the design and implementation of the data platform using modern data stack technologies.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver robust data solutions.
  • Champion automations by using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for data platform issues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proven track record in leading the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
  • Expertise in modern data stack technologies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
