  • Analyzing participant records using policies, guidance, and legislation to make funding decisions regarding participant plans to reduce overspending.
  • Communicating with participants and their representatives via telephone to identify current circumstances and spending patterns.
  • Maintaining high-quality records, demonstrating competency with multiple IT systems, and adhering to process guidelines and SOPs.
  • Researching and reviewing decisions, managing moderately complex cases with the support of higher classification staff.
  • Completing administrative and data entry tasks related to participants.
  • Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators and planning targets.
  • Key skills required include strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We are seeking candidates with relevant experience in the disability sector, including understanding the impacts of disability on individuals and the challenges they face. A caring, empathetic, and supportive nature is essential for this role, as well as previous decision-making experience, especially in government sectors.
