Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Central Western Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic supports to clients in Ballarat and surrounding locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
- Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence
About You
- Possess a positive, can-do approach and mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
- Strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
- Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
