Lynas Rare Earths is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our brand new plant.

About the Role

We are looking for a safety-focused and target-driven Maintenance Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in plant commissioning and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Developing maintenance strategies for new plant and equipment
  • Identifying and managing risks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Providing maintenance support to the operation and working closely with site Mechanical Engineers
  • Undertaking projects to optimize plant performance and reliability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • Relevant Australian-recognised mechanical fitting Trade certification
  • West Australian C Class Manual Drivers License (minimum)
  • Current High Risk Forklift, EWP, CN tickets (desirable)
  • Unwavering approach to safety and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results
