Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled warehouse assistant to join our team at Liverpool Hospital. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, decanting and delivering goods throughout the facility.

The role is based in a fast-paced environment where you will be interacting with staff, management and clients. You will work within a small team who report directly to the Supervisor of the department.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, decanting and delivery of goods throughout the facility.
  • Interacting with staff, management and clients in a fast-paced and active environment.
  • Maintenance of the allocated area of specific responsibility.
  • Handling of telephone and direct enquiries, imprest, bar coding and driving duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse distribution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of bar-coding or computer-based systems.
  • Physically able to perform the duties required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment but also with minimum supervision.
