Job Description

The work will include:

  • General commercial litigation
  • Insolvency
  • Contractual disputes
  • Corporations disputes
  • Partnership disputes
  • Negligence actions
  • Voidable transactions
  • Banking & finance litigation
  • Building and construction disputes

This role requires the ability to:

  • Provide clients with legal advice and conduct litigation
  • Conduct effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
  • Collaborate with partners and counsel to develop case strategies and innovative legal solutions
  • Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality when working on high profile matters
The Successful Applicant

This role will suit a professional and passionate:

  • Senior Associate with experience in Litigation & Dispute Resolution
  • Ideally already part of a litigation practice in the ACT, ready to join a growing team
  • Strong client relations and teamwork skills are highly valued
  • Work closely with the Partner, Special Counsels, Senior Associates, and junior Lawyers to develop skills and build your practice
  • Provide tailored advice to clients, including individuals, small to medium enterprises, and large national organizations
  • Engage in a diverse commercial litigation practice with a broad range of interesting work
  • Must be organized, motivated, and fit well culturally with the team
