Job Description:

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned writer and editor to join our team as a Communications Coordinator. As a key member of the County Court's communications team, you will play a critical role in providing key communications support.

As a Communications Coordinator, you will work closely with the team to assist with publications, website and intranet content, design, communication strategies, and event planning. You will be responsible for writing social media posts, briefs, and memos, as well as editing reports, handling administrative communications tasks, updating the website, and contributing to the team's efforts to deliver high-quality work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Writing and Editing Skills: The successful candidate will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, able to craft engaging content across various formats and mediums.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the team to ensure high-quality work.
  • Collaborative Approach: The ideal candidate will have excellent collaborative skills, able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Experience in Journalism or Communications: Experience working in a journalism, editorial, or communications environment, preferably in government, is highly desirable.
