Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our leadership team in developing and delivering policies and programs.

This position may also be used to establish a talent pool for future senior executive vacancies across the organisation.

About the Role

You will provide strategic support to the Secretary and Executive Team with leadership and direction setting of the organisation.

You will lead a large team to deliver high-level policy advice to ministers; plan, develop and implement major government initiatives; oversee operational aspects or regulatory functions; and/or manage the organisation's programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert judgement and awareness in providing strategic advice to ministers and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic plans that guide organisational direction in shaping future outcomes.
  • Foster a positive culture by leading and shaping organisational culture, improving performance and ensuring high-quality outcomes are achieved.
  • Demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement ability to build trust, manage complex relationships, influence outcomes through collaboration and effectively exchanging information, listening to, and learning from stakeholders.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and operate effectively in dynamic and rapidly changing environments, including leading and supporting teams through change.
