Instrument Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team at Dental Health Services Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize workload and complete all CSSD daily activities to provide a high-quality end product to our clients.
- Ensure that the appropriate standard of practice and adherence to National & International Standards is maintained.
- Ensure that instruments and equipment are properly maintained, and adequate stores are held.
- Deliver equipment to the appropriate work areas.
- Collect or receive soiled equipment from work areas.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or equivalent awarded by a registered training organization approved by the AIC.
- Knowledge of CSSD procedures, safety requirements, and the principles of prevention of cross contamination.
- Strong knowledge of Infection Control Standards AS 5369:2023, Reprocessing of reusable medical devices and other devices in health and non-health related facilities & ACHS Requirements.
