We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rural Generalist Registered Nurse to join our team at Collarcare. This role requires a versatile nurse capable of working effectively across both the ward and emergency department settings, with expertise in triage and advanced life support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in both ward and emergency department settings.
  • Conduct triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on clinical needs.
  • Administer advanced life support (ALS) and pediatric life support (PALS) as required.
  • Perform IV cannulation and other clinical procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Support and mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Senior Rural Generalist RN with experience in both ward and emergency department settings.
  • Competent in triage assessments.
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required.
  • Current Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification required.
  • Proficiency in IV cannulation.
  • Experience in Rural Nursing is essential.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • AHPRA Registration (must be current)
  • Australian National Police Check
  • Australian Immunisation History
  • Additional Mandatory Trainings
