The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Coordinator to join our team in Belconnen. As a key member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for leading a team of dentists and dental assistants in providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our dental state manager and centre support team to develop your skills and contribute to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Chairside Assistance: Provide all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our dentists, ensuring a high level of patient care and satisfaction.
  2. Patient Care and Service: Deliver exceptional dental care and customer service, fostering strong relationships with our patients and healthcare professionals.
  3. Instrument Reprocessing and Sterilisation: Maintain compliance with organisational policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
  4. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including booking patients, answering telephone calls, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  1. Previous Chairside Experience: Previous experience in a chairside dental role is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care.
  2. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Positive Attitude and Work Ethic: Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Certification and Experience: Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years of dental assisting experience, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care.
