**Job Description:**

  • The role of the Senior Trading Underwriter is to lead the underwriting strategy for our product(s), ensuring continued growth and margin improvement, and enhancing our market position.

The Senior Trading Underwriter will develop and execute underwriting strategies to meet or exceed financial plans. This includes building and maintaining knowledge of the market, including legal, economic, competitive and socio-demographic factors that influence it. They will also work closely with broker partners to develop the portfolio and meet or exceed financial plans.

**Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:**

  • This role carries strategic input and financial responsibility as well as being recognised as a market leading subject matter expert in our product(s).
  • Extensive technical knowledge of the product(s) and market dynamics.
  • Detailed understanding of sophisticated pricing practices and methodologies.
  • Clear understanding of risk management principles.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the product(s) and market dynamics, as well as a clear understanding of risk management principles. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with broker partners and other stakeholders.
